It was 1958 and America the innocent was “rockin’ around the clock". Nineteen years-old Charles Starkweather was your typical teenager, idolizing James Dean, chasing girls and dreaming of fast cars. His 14 year-old girlfriend, Caril Ann, was only in the 8th grade. But what did it matter, they loved each other. America was about to forever stop using the term “innocent teenagers”. When Charles and Caril Ann are forbidden by their parents to see each other, they embark upon a cold-blooded murderous rampage that would leave 11 dead (including Caril Ann’s parents) in only 44 hours. And so ended the innocence of youth.
