Special Agent Stephen Broderick’s uncanny ability in solving crimes brings him from Ohio to Utah to head up a state-wide investigation of the mysterious murders of two young children. Unknown to his colleagues, the celebrated detective often utilizes his son Jesse’s computer talents in aiding him with his research. Broderick and his whiz-kid son soon connect the murders with a series of brutal killings that have occurred around Monument Valley.
But when a proud father’s encouragement of innocent enthusiasm leads Jesse into the lair of a religious fanatic, Broderick’s pursuit of the slayer immediately turns into an explosive battle as he tries to save his young son from the clutches of a deranged serial killer.
